European Medical Devices Regulation (MDR) 2017/745 Update: The new European Medical Devices Regulation (MDR) EU 2017/745 will legally apply from May 26, 2020, and SGS, like all other Notified Bodies, will no longer be authorized to deliver CE certificates under the Medical Devices Directive (MDD).

CPSC and FDA Recalls and Consumer Updates;

FTC’s Comment Request: The FTC intends to ask the Office of Management and Budget to extend for an additional three years the current Paperwork Reduction Act clearance for the information collection requirements in the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Rule, which will expire on January 31, 2019.

 

F& W’s Comment Request: The agency is seeking feedback on information collected in FWS Forms 3-177 and 3-177a, as well as on related information collected via ACE. Comments, due April 2, should address the necessity of the requirements, their burden on importers and exporters, and ways to improve the information collection.

OFAC’s  Publication of the names of one or more persons and one aircraft that have been placed on OFAC’s Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List based on OFAC’s determination that one or more applicable legal criteria were satisfied. All property and interests in property subject to U.S. jurisdiction of these persons are blocked, and U.S. persons are generally prohibited from engaging in transactions with them.
